Sciarid Fly (Fungus Gnat) Control Nematodes 12sq.m.

Fungus Gnat/Sciarid Fly Nematodes are microscopic parasitic worms which seek out soil Fungus Gnat/Sciarid Fly larva, feed on them and multiply inside to stop them feeding on your plants. 

Sciarid fly is a common pest of indoor plants (house plants, conservatories, greenhouses).The larval stage of the sciarid fly attacks the roots of plants causing them a lot of damage and death of the plant. 

Nematodes are naturally found in the soil, by using this product you are simply topping it up.

This product will be despatched within 3 working days, from Monday to Thursday by 1st Class post. Please make sure you order it when you need it.

- It is safe to use and harmless to children, pets, birds, and wildlife.

- Recommended minimum soil temperature is 8°C (46°F).

- Recommended outdoor application time: April to August (applying outside of this timeframe may still help to control the pests) 

- Recommended indoor application time:  Can we used all year around indoors on house plants. 

 - Repeated applications are recommended to break the lifecycle of pests.

- Apply directly to the soil around the roots which is where the larvae will be feeding. 

- Soil or compost must be moist before and for at least 2 weeks after application, avoid waterlogging.

- Apply during evenings or dull conditions to avoid full sunlight.

- Must be stored in refrigerator and used within best before date stated, do not freeze 

- Please note these are a live product and have an expiry date usually about 2 weeks, expiry date printed on the packet, non-returnable

- Do not use chemical insecticides during the use of nematodes. 

- Suitable for use on fruit and vegetables and they can be eaten straight after application.

Nematodes products contain Nematodes (microscopic worms) which are renowned biological control products, providing many benefits over traditional gardening chemicals and are a key ally for organic gardeners. All products are simple to apply, and safe to use and harmless to children, pets, birds, and wildlife. 

PLEASE NOTE: This is a live product and needs to be used upon receipt. Use entire packet at one time and do not store made up solution. The entire spray solution should be applied once mixed. Do not store for longer than 4 hours. Use as soon as possible upon delivery. 

Usual expiry date is around two weeks once you receive the nematodes. 

The product comes complete with instructions. Apply using a watering can with a coarse rose or nematode applicator. Apply to moist soil and make sure the soil remains moist for at least two weeks after applying nematodes. Nematodes can survive the odd frost. Apply early morning or late evening to minimize the effect of heat and sunlight.
