Sow indoors March-April in pots of seed compost around 0.5cm deep and maintain gentle warmth. Thin or pot seedlings on as necessary, disturbing the roots as little as possible. Harden off and plant outdoors from late May-June after the risk of frost. Alternatively sow outdoors May-June directly into the flowering position and thin as necessary, allowing around 60cm between plants. Deadhead regularly to prolong flowering. Flowers July-October.
