Grow generous crops of rich, meaty tomatoes with this British-bred cordon variety. Maisey F1 produces attractive, deep-red beefsteak-style fruits with thick, tasty flesh, making them perfect for slicing, salads, sauces and home cooking. The vigorous plants offer high resistance to Fusarium wilt, Verticillium wilt and Tomato Mosaic Virus and can be grown in the greenhouse or outdoors in a sunny, sheltered position.

SOW INDOORS January-March for greenhouse crops or March-April for outdoor crops, thinly 0.5cm/quarter-in deep in pots or trays of compost. Keep at 15-20°C/60-68°F. Transplant seedlings into individual pots when approximately 10cm/4in tall. Plant into grow bags, large containers or the greenhouse border. For outdoor crops, harden off and plant out in June in a sunny, sheltered position. Support the main stem and regularly remove side shoots.
