Grafted Tomato Coeur de Boeuf Vegetable Plants

- Large, meaty beefsteak tomatoes
- Strong, vigorous plants with heavier yields
- Resistant to soil-borne pests and diseases

Product Description
Grafted Tomato Coeur de Boeuf Vegetable Plants are a large beefsteak tomato variety with a very distinctive shape and exceptional texture and flavour. Meaty and fleshy, the fruits ripen from the inside out and are especially attractive when sliced for Mediterranean-style salads with mozzarella and olive oil. These indeterminate plants are ideal for home-grown ingredients and deliver superb, fresh flavour from your garden to your plate.
Grafted vegetable plants offer gardeners plants with greater vigour and much more resistance to soil-borne pests and diseases, such as nematodes – particularly useful in greenhouse borders where rotation is limited. The grafting process combines the best attributes of two different plants – a species rootstock and a hybrid variety – producing strong, vigorous plants that yield more fruits and heavier harvests. While traditionally grown under cover, these plants also perform well outdoors in warm, sunny conditions, giving even more reason to grow them.
Supplied as well-established plants in 9cm pots. Please do not remove the plastic grafting clip – it will fall off naturally as the plant grows.

A handful of basil torn over pasta, rosemary crackled onto roast potatoes, or parsley snipped straight into a salad can transform a meal in seconds. Yet many of us share the same frustrating experience: a lush supermarket basil plant that looks perfect on Monday and is completely dead by Friday.
