Grow impressive, high-quality parsnips with this vigorous F1 hybrid. Panorama produces long, smooth and weighty cream-coloured roots with strong resistance to parsnip canker. The roots remain in excellent condition in the soil for several months, allowing them to be lifted as required throughout winter. Their sweet, full flavour improves after frost, making them delicious roasted, mashed or added to warming seasonal dishes.

SOW OUTDOORS February-April, thinly in drills, 1.5cm/half-in deep. Allow 45cm/18in between rows and gradually thin seedlings to 23cm/9in apart. Keep the soil consistently moist during prolonged dry weather and weed carefully to avoid damaging the roots. Leave mature roots in the ground until required, as their flavour becomes sweeter after exposure to frost.
