Grow uniform, round onions with rich red skins and excellent flavour. This dependable F1 hybrid produces high-quality bulbs with strong, attractive skins, making them ideal for storing after harvest. Their crisp texture and balanced flavour are delicious raw in salads, sliced into sandwiches or cooked into a wide variety of home-made dishes.

SOW INDOORS February-April for the largest bulbs, sowing thinly 0.5cm/quarter-in deep in trays of seed compost. Keep at approximately 15°C/60°F. Harden off during April-May and plant out 20cm/8in apart in rows 30cm/12in apart. SOW OUTDOORS March-April, thinly 1.5cm/half-in deep in rows 30cm/12in apart. Thin seedlings to 20cm/8in apart. Keep well watered and weed free. Allow the foliage to yellow naturally before lifting and drying the bulbs for storage.
