Sow indoors December-February for the largest bulbs, thinly in trays of seed compost around 0.5cm deep at approximately 15°C. Harden off during April-May and plant outdoors around 20cm apart in rows 30cm apart. Alternatively sow outdoors March-April, thinly, around 1.5cm deep in rows 30cm apart, thinning seedlings to 20cm apart. Keep well watered and weed free. Harvest August-September.
