Product Description
All Purpose Fruit and Veg Protection Nematodes (mix of Steinernema feltiae and Steinernema carpocapsae) are microscopic parasitic worms which seek out many pests then feed and multiply inside to stop them feeding on your plants. Nematodes are naturally found in the soil, by using this product you are simply topping it up.
- Controls: Carrot Root Fly, Cabbage Root Fly, Cutworm and Onion Fly, Ants (April to July, the soil temp must be above 12° C), Caterpillars and Gooseberry Sawfly, Thrips (May to October. temp must be above 12° C, start to apply when pests are present. For best results apply weekly for at least 5 applications), Codling Moth and Oriental Fruit Moth (September to October, will treat up to 16 trees, make 2 applications a fortnight apart ) and many other pests: see list below.

- It is safe to use and harmless to children, pets, birds, and wildlife.
- Minimum soil temperature is 12°C (54°F).
- Recommended outdoor application time: April to October (Applying outside of the recommended time may still help to control the pests).

- Soil or compost must be moist before and for at least 2 weeks after application, avoid waterlogging.
- Apply during evenings or dull conditions to avoid full sunlight.
- Must be stored in refrigerator and used within best before date stated, do not freeze
- Please note these are a live product and have an expiry date usually about 2 weeks, expiry date printed on the packet, non-returnable.
- Do not use chemical insecticides during the use of nematodes.
- Suitable for use on fruit and vegetables and they can be eaten straight after application.

Nematodes products contain Nematodes (microscopic worms) which are renowned biological control products, providing many benefits over traditional gardening chemicals and are a key ally for organic gardeners. All products are simple to apply, and safe to use and harmless to children, pets, birds, and wildlife.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a live product and needs to be used upon receipt. Use entire packet at one time and do not store made up solution. The entire spray solution should be applied once mixed. Do not store for longer than 4 hours. Use as soon as possible upon delivery. Usual expiry date is around two weeks once you receive the nematodes. The product comes complete with instructions. Apply using a watering can with a coarse rose or nematode applicator. Apply to moist soil and make sure the soil remains moist for at least two weeks after applying nematodes. Nematodes can survive the odd frost. Apply early morning or late evening to minimize the effect of heat and sunlight.
