Easy to grow and wonderfully free flowering, the dwarf plants are perfect for sunny border edges and patio containers. Sow indoors February-March in trays or individual pots of seed compost for an earlier display. Harden off and plant outdoors in May after the risk of frost. Alternatively sow outdoors April-June directly into the flowering position, around 1.5cm deep, spacing or thinning plants to approximately 23cm apart. Keep moist while establishing but avoid rich soil or excessive feeding, which can encourage leaves at the expense of flowers. Flowers June-October.
