Dress fences, trellis and garden structures in a spectacular display of large, ruffled flowers. Party Dress produces vivid deep-pink blooms with contrasting markings against vigorous, heart-shaped foliage. The fast-growing, twining stems quickly create an attractive summer screen, while the colourful trumpet-shaped flowers provide a valuable attraction for bees and other pollinating insects.

SOW INDOORS March-April, individually in small pots of compost, 1.5cm/half-in deep. Soak the seeds in warm water overnight before sowing to encourage germination. Keep at 20-25°C/68-77°F. Harden off and plant outside after the risk of frost has passed, spacing plants approximately 30cm/12in apart. SOW OUTDOORS May, directly beside a fence, trellis or other support. Keep plants well watered while establishing and guide young stems onto their supports.
