SOW INDOORS February-April, in pots or trays of compost. Keep at 15-20°C/60-68°F. Thin or transplant at the 2-4 leaf stage, then harden off and plant out after the risk of frost has passed, spacing plants 20cm/8in apart. SOW OUTDOORS April-May, directly into the flowering position, thinning seedlings as necessary. Remove faded flower heads regularly to prolong flowering.
