Love-in-a-Mist Miss Jekyll is a classic cottage garden annual, producing beautiful clear blue flowers surrounded by finely divided, feathery foliage. After flowering, decorative inflated seed pods extend the season of interest and are excellent for dried arrangements. Easy to grow directly where it is to flower, it's a lovely choice for informal borders and cut flower gardens.

Sow outdoors March-May directly into the flowering position, around 0.5cm deep. Thin seedlings as necessary, leaving approximately 23cm between plants. Alternatively sow in September for earlier flowers the following year. Keep moist while plants establish. Allow some flower heads to develop into decorative seed pods if required for dried arrangements. Flowers June-September.
