Busy Lizzie DTB Special Mixed F1 produces masses of jewel-bright blooms in a vibrant mixture of clear colours and bicolours. The compact, spreading plants give a generous summer display in bedding, patio containers and hanging baskets, and are particularly useful for bringing colour to partially shaded areas. Keep plants well watered and they will flower freely from early summer into autumn.

Position: Partial Shade
Sow indoors February-April, pressing the seed lightly onto the surface of moist seed compost. Maintain 21-25°C for germination, reducing to around 15°C once seedlings emerge. Cover with clear plastic or glass to retain humidity, removing it after germination. Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle, harden off from late May and plant outdoors from June after the risk of frost, spacing around 20cm apart. Keep moist throughout the growing season. Flowers June-October.
