Product Description

No kitchen garden is complete without onions, and our Hercules onion sets are a fantastic choice. This award-winning variety is celebrated for its outstanding performance and high yields. It produces large, nearly spherical bulbs with rich, golden skins and firm, flavourful flesh.

Renowned for their excellent resistance to bolting, Hercules onions can be stored for several months, ensuring a lasting supply. Their large size and strong flavour make them a versatile kitchen staple, perfect for cooking.

Plant in spring for a bountiful mid-season harvest, and experience the superior quality that has made Hercules onion sets a favourite among gardeners. Hercules onions mature earlier than many varieties, offering a timely crop just as stored bulbs become scarce.

All of our high-quality onion sets are certified virus and disease-free. Each 250g pack contains approximately 70 sets. Grow your Hercules onion sets in well-drained soil in full sun, leaving 12” (30cm) between each row. After lifting, leave to dry before use.
