Herb Mediterranean Collection
Product Description
A low maintenance, evergreen herb collection originating from the Mediterranean. Plant these three herbs for ornamental and herbal benefits all year round. HERB OLIVE - This low maintenance, evergreen shrub can be planted in any garden scheme and enjoyed for its beauty as well as its herbal benefits. Santolina has long been used as a culinary herb in Mediterranean recipes as it has a strong olive-like flavour when added to hot and cold dishes. In summer, small button like yellow flowers are produced atop this mounding shrub and are covered in pollinators. Likes a sunny, well drained spot. WINTER SAVORY - Winter Savory is a low maintenance perennial herb that is often forgotten in favour of more common herb varieties and not often seen in supermarkets. In fact, its spicy-peppery flavoured leaves have many culinary uses, whilst the small pale white-purple flowers and evergreen foliage bring ornamental value to any garden space. Suitable for growing in pots. Likes a sunny, sheltered, well-drained spot. ROSEMARY GREEN GINGER - This Rosemary variety is a little different - its needle like deep green leaves are ginger scented and can be added to many food and drink recipes, from desserts to stews, to marinades. Rosemary Green Ginger is a low maintenance evergreen shrub, meaning you can harvest from it all year round. Upright growing, with small purple flowers in spring that are loved by pollinators. Suitable for container growing. Like a sunny, well drained spot.
