Gaura The Bride produces clouds of delicate white flowers on tall, wiry stems that sway gracefully in the summer breeze. Its airy habit adds movement without overwhelming neighbouring plants, making it ideal for sunny perennial borders and dry garden planting. The elegant stems also make excellent cut flowers, and regular deadheading helps prolong the display well into autumn.

Sow indoors January-March at 15-18°C, covering the seed with a very fine layer of compost. Prick seedlings out when large enough to handle, harden off and plant outdoors from late May-June, spacing around 25cm apart. Alternatively sow outdoors June-July, thinning as necessary and transplanting to the flowering position in autumn or the following spring. Protect young plants from severe frost and deadhead regularly. Flowers May-October.
