Galanthus elwesii Bulbs produce elegant nodding white flowers above broad grey-green foliage, creating a distinctive late-winter display. This vigorous snowdrop is taller and more robust than the common snowdrop and works beautifully in naturalistic planting.

Supplied as a pack of 10 bulbs, plants reach around 20cm (8in) and flower from January to March. They are ideal beneath deciduous trees and shrubs, along woodland edges and through suitable grassy areas. Plant promptly from September to November in moist but well-drained, humus-rich soil in partial shade.

Bulb size: 5/6
Bulb sizes are measured by circumference in centimetres. A 5/6 bulb measures approximately 5-6cm around. Larger bulbs generally contain more stored energy, helping to support strong growth and an impressive flowering display.
