Sow indoors February-April in trays or pots of seed compost, around 0.5cm deep at 15-20°C. Prick seedlings out at the 2-4 leaf stage, harden off and plant outdoors in late spring, spacing around 45cm apart. Alternatively sow outdoors May-July in a seed bed, thinning seedlings to around 5cm apart as they develop before transplanting to their final position. Keep moist while establishing. Flowers June-October.
