Dwarf French Bean Montano combines excellent flavour with outstanding disease resistance, making it a reliable choice for productive kitchen gardens. The compact plants produce dark green, pencil-shaped pods around 12cm long over many weeks. Pick the tender beans regularly to encourage further crops, then enjoy them freshly steamed, tossed through salads or served alongside your favourite summer dishes.

Sow indoors April-May in pots or trays, protecting seedlings from frost. Harden off and plant outdoors from late May-June, spacing around 30cm apart. Alternatively sow outdoors May-July once the soil has warmed, in double rows around 45cm apart. Keep plants well watered during dry periods and weed free. Pick the pods regularly to encourage a continuous supply. Harvest June-October.
