Grow crisp, sweet cucumbers that are the perfect size for lunchboxes, salads and healthy snacks. Vigorous, productive plants produce an abundance of smooth, dark-green fruits throughout summer. Pick regularly while the cucumbers are young and tender, ideally at around 10-15cm long, to enjoy their best flavour and encourage further cropping. Suitable for greenhouse growing or a warm, sheltered position outdoors.

SOW INDOORS February-May, one seed per small pot, 1.5cm/half-in deep, placing the seed on its edge. Keep at 20-25°C/68-75°F. After germination, grow on at 15-18°C/60-65°F. Plant into greenhouse grow bags or borders after 3-4 weeks, spacing plants 45cm/18in apart. Train stems up wires and remove the growing point at roof level. For outdoor crops, harden off and plant outside from late May to June in a sunny, sheltered position. Pick fruits regularly while young and tender.
