Cosmos Seashells Mixed brings something wonderfully different to summer borders, with distinctive fluted petals rolled into unusual seashell-like tubes around bright yellow centres. The graceful plants produce a beautiful mixture of pink, red and cream shades on tall stems that are excellent for cutting. Easy to grow in a sunny position, they flower generously through summer and into autumn while attracting visiting bees and butterflies.

Sow indoors February-April around 0.5cm deep at approximately 15°C. Prick seedlings out at the 2-4 leaf stage, harden off and plant outdoors from late May after the risk of frost, spacing around 30cm apart. Alternatively sow outdoors April-May directly into the flowering position. Keep moist while establishing and remove faded flowers regularly to encourage further blooms. Flowers June-October.
