Cornus 'Midwinter Fire’ is a cultivar of the common dogwood, known for its vibrant, bright and fiery and eye-catching stem colour during the winter months. Leaves turn from oranges and golds to reds and purples in autumn further extending the season of interest. Pruning plants right down to 7.5cm/3in every few years will ensure plenty of colourful new stems for winter displays.
