Coreopsis Early Sunrise produces masses of glowing golden-yellow, semi-double flowers on neat, compact plants. Perfect for sunny beds, perennial borders and patio containers, this hard-working perennial has a long flowering season and can bloom in its first year when sown early. Regular deadheading encourages even more flowers, while the bright open blooms are attractive to bees and butterflies.

Sow indoors January-March in trays of seed compost, around 0.5cm deep at 15-20°C. Transplant seedlings approximately 5cm apart when large enough to handle, harden off after the risk of frost and plant outdoors from late May, spacing around 25cm apart. Alternatively sow outdoors May-July, thinly in a seed bed, transplanting to the flowering position from late summer into autumn. Keep moist and deadhead regularly to encourage further blooms. Flowers July-October.
