Carrot Paris Market 5 (Atlas) Seeds

Daucus carota, Atlas carrot seeds are quick to grow and produce a crop in as little as 9 to 10 weeks when sown as an early crop. As a maincrop, they are ready at around 12 weeks after sowing. They can be sown from February to July for a constant supply of fresh carrots.

Each plant will yield one carrot, just like leeks, beetroot, parsnips and radish. Therefore, for every seed you sow, you can grow one carrot. It is recommended that you sow the seeds thinly in a line and cover them lightly with soil for optimum germination.

Carrots will go to flower if they are left in the ground too long, or if conditions are particularly dry. With heirloom carrots like Paris Market, you can collect the carrot seeds and plant them the following year.
