Carrot Amsterdam Forcing 3 (Sprint) AGM Seeds are a premium variety, celebrated for their uniform, cylindrical baby carrots and exceptional sweet flavour. With their vibrant orange colour and tender texture, these carrots are a delight to grow and enjoy. One of the earliest varieties available, they thrive when sown early and protected with cloches, producing a reliable harvest over a long season. Lift them as baby carrots for a truly special spring treat – steam them gently and toss in butter for a dish full of fresh flavour. Ideal for garden beds or containers, this versatile carrot variety is a must-have for any kitchen garden.

Where In a prepared seed bed.
How Sow thinly in rows 25cm apart. Cover lightly with 1.5cm of fine soil. Firm gently and keep moist. Seedlings appear 14-21 days. For continuous crops sow every 2-3 weeks.
Care When harvesting, select alternate young carrots from the row, at approx. 7.5cm long, allowing the remainder to develop fully. No other thinning is needed if sown thinly. Keep well watered to prevent the roots splitting. Keep weed free at all times.
Harvest May to October. Lift remainder in October, remove soil from roots and store in dry sand.
