Carnation Chabaud Select Mixture produces a beautiful range of large, double flowers with finely fringed petals in a vibrant mixture of colours. Sweetly fragrant and carried on strong stems, the blooms are excellent for cutting, bringing both colour and scent into the home. The bushy plants also make an attractive addition to sunny borders and patio containers, flowering generously through late summer and into autumn.

Sow indoors January-March, around 0.5cm deep in trays of moist seed compost at approximately 15-20°C. Prick seedlings out when large enough to handle and grow on in cooler conditions. Harden off and plant outdoors from late May after the risk of frost, spacing around 30cm apart. Grow in a sunny, well-drained position and deadhead regularly to encourage further blooms. Flowers August-October.
