Aster Milady Mixed is a compact, bushy bedding variety producing large double flowers in a rich mixture of colours. Its neat habit makes it ideal for beds, borders and patio containers, where the colourful blooms give a long-lasting late-summer display. The variety has good resistance to wilt, and the flowers can also be cut for cheerful indoor arrangements while providing a useful source of nectar for visiting pollinators.

Sow indoors March-April, around 1.5cm deep at 15-20°C. Thin or transplant seedlings as necessary, harden off from late May and plant outdoors from June, spacing around 20cm apart. Alternatively sow outdoors April-May directly into the flowering position. Keep moist while establishing and remove faded flower heads regularly to encourage further blooms. Flowers July-September.
