Tomato Tumbling Tiger is a prolific British-bred variety that can produce an impressive 150 or more fruits from a single plant. The slightly plum-shaped, striped tomatoes are packed with flavour, making them perfect for snacking straight from the plant, adding to salads or bringing a burst of home-grown freshness to summer dishes. Growing to around 30cm high and spreading to approximately 45cm, its compact trailing habit makes it particularly well suited to hanging baskets and patio containers.

Sow indoors January-March for protected crops or March-April for outdoor crops, around 0.5cm deep at 15-20°C. Transplant seedlings into individual pots at the 2-4 leaf stage. Plant into pots or hanging baskets from late April-May under protection, or move outdoors in June after the risk of frost. Keep plants well watered and feed regularly once fruits begin to form. This compact bush variety does not require side-shoot removal. Harvest June-October, with outdoor crops generally starting from July.
