Flavora is a vigorous maincrop pea producing long, pointed pods in pairs, with the potential for up to 12 sweet, flavoursome peas in each pod. Growing to a manageable 60cm high, it delivers generous pickings for enjoying freshly shelled at the table or adding to favourite summer dishes. The plants show resistance to fusarium root rot and powdery mildew.

Sow outdoors from March to July in flat-bottomed drills 5cm deep and approximately 5cm apart. Allow 60cm between rows and provide twiggy supports or netting as the plants develop. Keep well watered when flowering and pods are swelling, then harvest regularly from June to October while the peas are young and sweet.
