Gooseberry Invicta Fruit Plant is a vigorous, heavy-cropping culinary gooseberry producing plenty of smooth green fruit with good flavour. Awarded an RHS Award of Garden Merit, it also offers useful resistance to mildew and leaf spot.

The fruit is ideal for pies, crumbles, fools, jams and preserves, while surplus crops can be frozen for later use. Invicta forms a vigorous, spreading bush with large thorns, so give it room to develop in fertile, moisture-retentive but well-drained soil.

Supplied as one bare root plant for dormant-season planting.
