Gaillardia Goblin is a compact, free-flowering perennial producing masses of vivid red and yellow bicoloured blooms. Its neat habit makes it ideal for sunny beds, border fronts and patio containers, where the cheerful flowers provide a long display from early summer into autumn. Deadhead regularly to encourage fresh blooms and enjoy months of warm, eye-catching colour.

Sow indoors February-April in pots or trays of seed compost, around 0.5cm deep at 15-20°C. Thin or transplant seedlings at the 2-4 leaf stage, harden off and plant outdoors from late May, spacing around 30cm apart. Alternatively sow outdoors May-July in a seed bed to flower the following year, transplanting in September-October. Keep moist while establishing and remove faded flowers regularly. Flowers June-October.
