Unusual Berry Fruit Plant Collection
From 8th May 2024.
Boysenberries are a cross between a loganberry, blackberry and raspberries which makes a very interesting fruit! With a flavour reminiscent of a wild blackberry. This thornless selection has a large round or oblong fruit, purplish black in colour, which are perfect fro puddings and jams. Delivered as potted plants in 2 litre pots.
Tayberry Buckingham is a spine-free 'sport' of the original Tayberry, it produces vigorous, stout canes and very large berries (up to 5cm/2in long), similar to a loganberry but rather sweeter. The fruits are ready from late July onwards, but do wait for the Tayberries to turn from red to purple to ensure the best flavour. Delivered as potted plants in 2 litre pots.
