SOW INDOORS Feb-April thinly in pots or trays of compost. Temperature 68-71°F/18-20°C for germination falling to 60°F/15°C once seedlings emerge. Transplant to pots at 2-4 leaf stage. Transfer finally to large pots or borders in the greenhouse or coldframe. Spacing 15in/40cm apart. Harvest August. Water well when fruits are forming, adding a liquid fertiliser every 10-14 days. Suitable for freezing
