Brown's Golden Globe Onion Sets

Chosen from a breeding program which started in the 1990’s, we’ve been monitoring this selection for a few years and have been consistently impressed by its high yields, strong growth, distinct and spicy flavour and attractive globe-shaped bulbs. Our grower has been busy building up stocks and we now have enough to offer as sets for the 2019 growing season.

Available exclusively from DTB and bred in the UK, it's suitable for growing on any soil type, including heavier soils, and you can expect bumper yields of golden yellow, globe-shaped bulbs from August and through to September. Ideal for cooking and eating raw in salads, the plants have shown good disease resistance and the bulbs store well too.
