Bird Cottage House/Feeder White

This charming ‘Swedish cottage’ can be used either as a feeding platform or as a nesting box for small bird species. When used as a ‘table’ it dispenses two different foods at the same time to encourage a wider range of visitors. Only small birds are able to feed, as the big boys cannot grip and balance on the feeding area. In spring the ‘house’ can be easily converted into a nesting box by inserting the base plate provided and opening the round ‘window’ at the front. The box is designed to allow ventilation so that chicks do not overheat and even has grooved steps inside the box to help the fledglings get out! Made of Larch wood, 2 litre food capacity, dimensions 240 x 240 x 270mm. Mounts onto a post or pole which is not supplied.
