We are delighted to bring you new blackberries from the breeding work of John Clark at the University of Arkansas ho has been specialising in breeding sweet, thornless, upright blackberries. The sweeter varieties have led to a huge increase in supermarket sales to the point where they are some 8 times greater than 6 years ago! Now you can discover why in your own gardens.

Blackberry Apache starts cropping from mid-August and has very large conical berries, with a deliciously super-sweet flavour. Apache yields some of the largest fruit we have seen - berries can be up to 11g each on upright canes.
