Bilberry Plant

Bilberry is a British native, closely related to the blueberry. It bears its fruit singly or in pairs rather than in clusters and the bilberry flesh is red rather than pale green. The blue/black fruits can be eaten fresh or made into jam, pies or wine.

Bilberries are a great choice even for smaller containers.
