This heritage variety originally from the Channel Islands produces a very tall, straight stem (can grow up to 6ft) topped with a rosette of edible leaves. It’s a hardy biennial and if plants are left in the ground they could reach a height to over 3m (9.5ft)!

For Walking Stick (They can be cut, carved and varnished to make an attractive walking stick) - Harvest: 180 days from sowing September-October or, (15-16 months) for a larger stick: June-July the following year.
