POLYTUNNEL PROVES ITS WORTH

The new D.T. Brown polytunnel on our trial grounds has paid off this winter!  These calabrese Aquiles were from our Spring Greens plant collection supplied last September and have grown well despite the severe weather last December. These heads were cut on 8th March and, due to the pleasant weather this March, the first side shoots are ready one week later. Over-wintering lettuce and cabbage are also just about ready.
