In a comparison of the cost of a basket of 24 popular vegetable seed varieties conducted in November 2010 among the major mail order seed suppliers, we were delighted that D. T. Brown was found to have the best value basket at £34.36*.  The price is up to a staggering £22.30 cheaper than almost identical ‘baskets’ from other companies.  The 24 varieties include favourites such as Beetroot Boltardy, Carrot Autumn King, Radish French Breakfast, Lettuce Little Gem, Runner Bean Enorma and Tomato Alicante.
