Almond Robijn
£19.95 per 1x tree

Beautiful pale pink blossom in spring gives way to a crop of delicious, soft-shelled nuts. Best grown in a sheltered, warm, sunny position. Do not plant near a peach tree, as cross-fertilisation may give bitter almonds. Self fertile.

Apple Braeburn Dwarf Tree
£9.95 per 1x p9 tree

A unique flavour which is both sweet and tart.

Apple Braeburn M9
£16.95 per 1x M9 rootstock

Why grow an apple that is available all year round from supermarkets? Eaten straight from your tree the skin is rosier, the texture is crisper and the flavour is tangier and more intense. Britain's favourite apple is also a really good keeper. It does best in long, warm summers and may need a sheltered spot in the north.

Apple Bramley Original M27
£16.95 per 1x M27 rootstock

Grow a real piece of history - our trees have been propagated from the original Nottinghamshire Bramley, but with relatively dwarf rootstocks. The fruits, however, are satisfyingly large. The classic late 'cooker'. Not self fertile.

Apple Bramley Original M9
£16.95 per 1x M9 rootstock

Grow a real piece of history - our trees have been propagated from the original Nottinghamshire Bramley, but with relatively dwarf rootstocks. The fruits, however, are satisfyingly large. The classic late 'cooker'. Not self fertile.

Apple Cybele
£17.95 per 1x M9 rootstock

This splendid variety, named after the Mother Earth goddess, is one of the best mid-season apples, being ready for picking in September. The firm, sweet, white flesh of Cybele has a most attractive red skin. Its blossom tends to resist frost, leading to a fine crop of scab-resistant apples.

Apple Egremont Russet
£17.95 per 1x M9 rootstock

The rough brown skin and slightly dry texture of this very old variety should not deter you from growing a truly great apple. It had a uniquely sweet, nutty flavour, making it a really good dessert variety, but it is also good in salads or eaten with a piece of mature Cheddar or Stilton. A Britiish classic! Partially self fertile.

Apple Esteval
£17.95 per 1x M9 rootstock

We regard this French-bred, early variety as a marked improvement on Golden Delicious. The fruits, which have a yellow-green skin striped orange and red, are usually ready in mid September. They have more sweetness than many early varieties yet more acidity than Golden Delicious. The cream flesh, which is lovely and crisp, has hints of both pear and strawberry and there may even be a touch of aniseed. Estival is also notable for retaining its crispness better than most earlies.

Apple Gala Dwarf Tree
£9.95 per 1x p9 tree

Small, attractive apple which is a cross between a Golden Delicious and a
Kidd’s Orange Red.

Apple Golden Delicious Dwarf Tree
£9.95 per 1x p9 tree

Has a crisp interior surrounded by a green/gold skin.

Apple Howgate Wonder
£18.95 per 1x M9 rootstock

If you like your apples really big, look no further than this variety! While it is first and foremost a 'cooker' - and a very good one - Howgate Wonder is quite sweet when eaten fresh, so also has a claim to being a dessert apple. A very handsome variety, it has green skin lightly flushed with orange and crisp, white flesh.

Howgate Wonder is simply superb as a baked apple and it is also a fine choice for juicing. It does well just about everywhere and we particularly recommend it for areas considered 'difficult' for growing apples. Incidentally it was bred on the Isle of Wight around 1915.

Apple Jubilee M9
£16.95 per 1x M9 rootstock

Bred in France, a cross between Gala and Golden Delicious, Jubilee produces attractive bicolour fruits with a sweet, crisp flesh. Its high yields are due to Golden Delicious 'blood' and it has the advantage of being resistant to scab.

Apple Laxton's Fortune
£17.95 per 1x M9 rootstock

It may be more than 100 years old, but it is still worth growing this Bedfordshire-bred variety, which was sometimes known simply as 'Fortune'. The yellow/green skin is both flushed and striped red while its flesh is aromatic and with a good balance of acidity and sweetness. Not self fertile.

Apple Pinova
£17.95 per 1x M9 rootstock

With Cox and Golden Delicious as its parents, this late dessert variety shows outstanding resistance to both mildew and scab, making it a great choice for those who like to grow their fruit organically or with a minimum of chemicals. The fruits, which are yellow skinned with a good red flush, become ready in September and will keep until Christmas. It has a splendid flavour, as we would expect with Cox in its parentage.

Apple Queen Cox
£16.95 per 1x M9 rootstock

For many, no apple can match Cox's Orange Pippin. This 'sport' has the rich, mellow flavour or Cox's Orange Pippin, but is a much more reliable cropper and much better suited to growing at home. Its hightly coloured, but it has that hallmark deep cream, juicy flesh and a flavour which improves with keeping. Self fertile.

Apple Rejka
£17.95 per 1x M9 rootstock

The main aim in developing this mid to late dessert apple was disease resistance. Not only did the breeder achieve this, but also managed to produce an apple which is sweet, juicy and crisp. Its creamy yellow flesh has a rather open texture and, when fully ripe, there is a hint of strawberry about its flavour. Rejka has yellow skin heavily overlaid with rich red. Its fruits are most attractive and of a good size.

Apple Santana
£17.95 per 1x M9 rootstock

This is the apple for those people who may be allergic to apples due to the high level of protein which most contain. Santana was bred specifically for its lower levels of protein - and this has been achieved. Raised at the University of Wageningen in the Netherlands, Santana has much else to recommend it.

The medium sized apples have skin with a deep red flush on a yellow background and creamy yellow, firm flesh. Its fragrance and flavour are rather intriguing in that notes of rose blossom, lychees and even Gewurztraminer grape are detectable, especially as the skin reddens. Santana is ready for picking in September and is a superb variety.

Apple Topaz
£17.95 per 1x M9 rootstock

If you enjoy the refreshingly zingy flavour of a Granny Smith, chances are you will enjoy this superb, late variety, despite it having a mainly red skin rather than a green one! Topaz is also notable for its excellent resistance to disease and its ability to keep well from a late October/November harvest through to the following March.

The medium to medium-large fruits have firm, juicy, cream coloured flesh, the flavour of which mellows with keeping. Topaz has the excellent Lord Lambourne in both its parent lines.

Apple Tree Collection
£45.85 per Three trees, one of each variety

Including:- Queen Cox Self Fertile, Braeburn & Jubilee.

Apple, Deltardive
£17.95 per 1x M9 rootstock

While this excellent late apple become ready from late October, it will often stay on the tree in good condition until the end of December. The red skinned, tasty fruits, which have a lovely touch of sharpness, will also keep until the following March.
